MY rs6 build log :)
jibber, yours is just a parts list :P
haha let me know if you want a hand with the work!
anyway broke it into two sections. <a href="http://s291.photobucket.com/albums/ll300/raktar/dissection/">dissection</a>
and, <a href="http://s291.photobucket.com/albums/ll300/raktar/resurrection/">resurrection</a>.
quick list:
OEM RS6 turbos, compressor mouth modified to fit S4 by VAST
034 inlets (rs4 reps)
Pauter forged rods and bearings
honed block, cleaned pistons, all rotating and reciprocating parts balanced by Jarl @ FAST in Sunset.
rs4 intake cams, heads rebuilt by Jarl @ FAST.
Fueling kit including rs4 airbox, 60lb injectors, spark plugs, 3bar fpr, 83mm maf (VAST)
Rebuilt torque converter by VAST
AWE intercoolers (not installed yet, putting together a trans cooler kit and i'll do those together when the weather warms up)
RS6 steering wheel w/paddle shift and rebadged with s4 emblem (looks great, ty vrlife)
vast high flow efk
STARTUPRACING's Vogtland GT Coilovers
and let's not forget the maintenance goodies (this is for informational purposes. you'll need some or most of this stuff to rebuild the engine):
zoldman front o2s -- needed because i blew a k03 and the oil man cometh all over my old front o2s.
*TWO* rear main seal kits, which includes a second motor pull after i was totally done to fix a monster oil leak. that's what i did this weekend. (yipee for being a rookie)
low temp afterrun sensor
new coolant temp sensor
front main crank seal and bolt, new head bolts, new main bolts and bearings (if you want to be thorough and hone the block)
orings for everything you could possibly imagine
umm... yeah. you know. lotsa stuff

True as of yet
Haven't started any dissection yet, but will have pics of that as well. As well as an updated detailed parts list. Fact of the matter I need to run my entire parts list by you to see if I skipped over something, so expect an email sometime soon.
