Default Turning door key difficult..

I rarely use my remote (never seems to work for long anyway even with fresh batteries)...so I turn the key the old fashioned way...but it is getting more and more difficult to turn to unlock..locking is not as difficult..Is this just a lubrication issue? or another tip of an iceberg?

Default Corrosion inside. I usually take them apart and clean them up to make better.

Might try spraying some penetrating oil inside lock to help clean it out and lube it. You can also get powder graphite to help keep the pins sliding when they are all clean.
