That's correct, your fuel pump is bad. On my car a "mechanic" replaced them ~5 times

with used units but the problem was persistent. I sold the car and the new owner fixed it by replacing both pumps with new ones.

Checked the fuel rail FPR, there was no leaks at all. Plugged the EVAP

and loosened the gas cap but the car was still running the same.

Once I took it for a drive then after turning off the car, removed the gas cap and

it made a hissing sound. it definitely seems like something's wrong with the EVAP system.

It could be.

Need to see if fuel rail FPR leaks while the car is running.
