Wait a second after you release the brake for the clutch to engage before hitting the gas. The dsg has a clutch and needs a second to engage. You'll feel it engage. Once engaged, just hit it.

Koni FSD's work good

I replaced my shocks at 65K, they were toast. Put on some Koni FSD's and they are comfortable to me. I don't want to lower car because of low oil pan anyways.

OK, look at oil cap. A few inches below that is vacuum thing for manifold. Also the fuel pressure reg is there....Right below the FPR is the connector for the coolant sensor. It's against the engine....

It's the bolt a couple inched in front of the swaybar bushing bolt. I just jacked up car on that side, and sure enough a 1/8 inch gap between subframe mount and body when lifted. Thinking of busting...
