I can only find 2 areas in vcds relating to the sunroof, 26-auto roof and 38 roof electronics but neither connects to the car so can't even see what's in there to potentially play with.

Will the car "forget" settings etc when the battery is disconnected? Or should one try to keep the car connected to 12 v while changing.

On the 4.2FSI engine I can only find these should be checked without a fixed interval for change. Is this correct and if so when would it be advisable to change them anyways?
