There is an updated relay that will keep it from happening again. Look around for the part number. I dont have it readily available. Id get one from the dealer to be sure of the quality.

I have to do this also. Good information here. Since I have VCDS, it looks pretty easy.

I'll have to measure the pads before installation and write it down for coding.
