Its the front valiance under the bumper on a 84 4Ksq it broke off on my way to my brothers wedding in Milwaukee last Sunday. A semi truck kicked up a huge piece of ice and damage the front and took the valiance right off. As i saw it being run over in my rear view mirror i lost a part of history .If it was not snowing and the highway down to 1 lane i would have gotten out to get it. Does anyone know or have an idea were i can locate one seeing how these cars are needles in a hay stack when it comes to parts

That really sucks... They do plastic weld really well, just for future reference. I know those particular circumstances didn't allow for a recovery, but if it happened again you could likely fix it.

As far as the name, I think it just depends on who you ask. Front valance is the most common U.S. term, I would say, while the Germans call it a "frontspoiler".

As far as where to get one, you'll probably just have to keep an eye on Motorgeek's Swap Meet section. In fact there's a thread now that claims a "garage full" of 4k parts. Might be worth an inquiry.

Then there's the ebay.de route, but you'll have to do a bit of Google translating and cough up a good pile of cash.

I bought it two years from Ebay.de (German Ebay) and it was not for my 87 4k CS. Ive had it sitting in my garage. Its brand new, OEM part. Let me know if you still need it.
