The LEDs are one sided like the dome lights so you just put them in with the diodes facing down and then reinstall the black cover and pop the assembly back in place. I didn’t have to test this since the lights were on from opening the door and lit up as soon as I put them in. The rest of the puddle lights are installed the same way.







Next I moved onto the glovebox and sunvisor LEDs.



I tackled the glovebox LED first since this was the one I was most concerned about after reading about several people popping fuses during this part, but I just disconnected the assembly from the wiring harness for the install and I had no issues. The assembly is again just gently pried out in the same way that the puddle lights were, it’s a little tighter space in the glovebox but after some maneuvering it came right out.













There’s a white plastic back piece covering the bulb similar to the one on the puddle lights except it needs to be pried from the side to access the bulb (I just used my hand to open this up). The LED is the same one sided style as the puddle lights and is installed with the 6 smd's facing downwards. Below is what the LED bulb looks like.



After installing the bulb clip the plastic cover back on, reconnect the assembly clip to the wiring harness and pop the whole assembly back in just like the puddle lights.



From here I moved onto the sunvisor bulbs. These also just pry out using the pry tool on the end with a little notch. These have a metal backing that can be gently pried out the same way the black piece was on the puddle lights and glovebox assembly.









Again I just pried apart the terminals holding the bulb in and let the bulb fall out (like the dome lights). The LED bulbs are one sided (like the dome lights/puddle lights/glovebox). Just pop them in with the 3 smd's facing downward and center them the same way as the dome lights and test by opening the mirror cover to ensure the polarity is correct, if they don’t light up just flip them around. The installation is the exact same on the opposite side.











Finally I moved on to the last bulb in the kit, the trunk light LED.



Again this assembly just gently pries out on the side facing the passenger side of the car and you remove the black piece covering the bulb (same as the puddle lights). This is another one sided bulb so you just install with the LED smd's facing down and reinstall the assembly. (Don’t forget to put the back piece back on [])

All in all I really like this kit from deAuto key. I especially like the one sided LEDs which take a lot of the guesswork out of putting in the bulb the right way the first time. There are no CEL's with this LED kit!

Would you consider kits for other makes? My S4 is already loaded with LED's but my wife's Subaru outback needs help badly. Especially the fog and DRL lights.
