Part No. for jack post

My used A7 was missing one of the plastic jacking sockets. I cut a piece of 2X2 that worked but you can see in the picture, I had to cut a new piece of wood or find a better solution. I had a piece of "U" shaped metal scrap from building conduit pipe racks. It was close to size of the wood and came with 1/2" holes in the back.
I used my right angle drill to make the holes because my regular drill wouldn't fit under the car on ramps. A couple of threaded holes later, the piece was in place. I couldn't see paying for a piece of plastic to replace one that failed.
The car on a lift during the exhaust installation.

I took a bit to realize what the "widowmaker" was. No, I haven't used the OEM jack. I don't plan to unless it's absolutely necessary.
It has been up on a regular floor jack several times using a jack pad. I had to buy a lower jack because I got tired of driving up on a 2X8 to get clearance needed to use my old jack.

FYI - Audi apparently doesn't have a part number for this item. This is not an Audi item, more of an industry standard. Some companies that make automotive lifts have them.
I just ordered 4 off Ebay.

Not sure if you mean this. I bought one so I could use my standard floor jack with the A6.

I have used the hockey pucks thus far. But can't stand the sight of the trim deflecting on the lift arms.

The problem with the hockey pucks is they bear weight on the edge of the plastic "box." which leads to the the box crushing a bit. The bottom (or top) of the plastic box has a ton of ribs and will bear the weight without defelcting.
