Default D3 A8 (2005) $5,200obo

I need to sell this car. Would love for her to stay with an Audi enthusiast. I currently have 4 Audi's that I pay registration and insurance for, and cant keep any more. This car is in excellent condition. I have owned it since 2011, prior to that it belonged to my Audi mechanic's mom. 173k miles. In the last 5 months I had the timing belt service done, new valve cover gaskets and relating cam guide gaskets done. Also had a lot of old and cracking vacuum lines replaced including the radiator to A/C compressor line hose. New motor mounts were also installed (work done in November of 2016). All OEM Audi parts done by the same tech that has worked on this car since 35k miles (previous owners son). I also recently had the hood, side fenders and roof professionally re-sprayed due to typical Audi clear coat oxidation issues (work done at Alvyn's Body shop in Signal Hill). Both front leather seats are from a 2007 A8 and have no tears at all. Replaced the original seats as the perforated seats tend to tear with time. This car has all options. Heated / cooled massaging seats, rain sensing windshield wipers, Adaptive Xenon headlights, privacy roll up rear shade, sport suspension with soft to firm settings. Car runs amazing. No CEL's. Always replaced oil with Lubri-Moly full synthetic every 5k. Tires are in great shape as well with 75% tread left (Yokohama Avid). Front brakes were replaced with OEM Audi rotors and pads in December of 2016, while rear brakes replaced in July of 2016. The complete braking system was also flushed with genuine Audi fluid. New coil packs & plugs at 150k miles as well as OEM Audi battery (150k miles). The transmission was serviced at 101k with the correct "Blue" fluid. If I would keep the car I would have it done again around 190k miles. Shifts beautifully with no swooshing sound at all. Has upgraded 19' RS6 wheels (C5 model). Wheels do have curb rash on them, but they are true and straight!. This car runs at 100mph with ease and you don't even feel it. Very smooth ride. I am an Audi aficionado to the core, and take very good care of my cars (I think my wife calls it "OCD"). Call with any questions or for a test drive. Willing to negotiate price so that it stays with an Audi enthusiast. Recent work done was over $2,900 with paint work included.

Early or late 2005? Does it have bluetooth? What air suspension components have been replaced?

That's Los Angeles area, if I'm not mistaken. He hasn't necessarily had to replace any air suspension pieces, given the mild climate out there. Nice looking car for the price, assuming it doesn't need anything.

Anyone in the LA area know how the market is to sell a D2 with 192k - possible to get $2k - car runs ok but oil leak and other issues? I have a wild and crazy idea about dumping my d2 for this ride!

Hi guys been out of the forum for a while. It sold last Wednesday for $5,000. Sad to see it go. I did replace the two front struts with Arnott's at around 125k to 135k (around that time frame). No bluetooth. Car didn't need anything other than the headliner had just started to sag underneath the driver side sun visor. And of course the door lock buttons o both front doors were faded due to the soft touch material Audi really F_d" up on. Guy who bought it is local (from Long Beach as well) so hopefully I will see it around. Hes not an Audi guy but a Honda / Toyota mechanic. Gonna look at getting a D4 towards the end of the year. For now gonna DD my 2008 A4 Avant manual (in LA Traffic!!!!!). Wife is using out A5 till we get her car which we are current looking for (B8.5 S4). Thanks for the compliments. Oh almost forgot. I had bought a near mint condition full set of rear tail lights for this car that I didnt want to install and sell for so cheap. Gonna post them here tonight. $450.00 if anyone is interested.

Part numbers on back say they came off of a 2007. I guess just before they updated them.
