Default throttle hesitation/indecisiveness

We've had a pedal hesitation and throttle indecisiveness with our 2011 A4 TIP since day 1 of new. Dealer involved maybe 6x in early going, no resolution...did all ignition parts, head off, cleaned, etc., seemed okay for a few days then back again. Here we are 6-years later, 53K, new long block (another story) samo samo almost got me killed a couple days ago turning across traffic, hesitates maybe to the count of 1001 before responding and is random.
The only part not changed was the ecu or any throttle positioning stuff. Local Indie was on to it and I'm going there in a week.
Any others have this??

After seven years it may be a little late for anyone to take the complaint seriously. But when something about a car almost gets you killed, the first thing to do is file a complaint with the NHTSA, and look for similar complaints on file there.

Never thought about this approach. We're collecting the repair orders from years past referring to the hesitation, the latest from an Indie late Summer '16. The hesitation episode from last week still is unnerving when I think about it. Thanx.

Glad to. Onceuponatime, a friend of mine told me "Life is to short to waste on..." so I gladly offer a carrot to any vendor that seems to have a problem, but I only offer it once. Then a stick.

I found with my Q5 that there's just something about the peddle placement (I think the relative height of the peddles, plus a position of both that is "to the right" and puts my right leg and ankle further right than usual, but perhaps not) that seems to lead to "peddle confusion", with the right foot being able to hit both peddles at once. Dunno, that's something they can look into. And really should, because there's just something different there.
