Anyone knows where the AC evaporator drain location (under the car) is in 2014 A6? I know there is a drain tube in the center tunnel / passenger footwell area, but I am looking for the actual outlet outside of the car. I think there is a drain in the wheel well, but that is for the sunroof drainage, at least that is my understanding.

Try running the a/c, then park in the driveway and check the location of the puddle of water under the car. Pretty simple huh?

NOT if it's cold outside and not if that drain is plugged, which is why I'm asking. Make sense, huh?

The drain usually is in the lower center of the firewall but it's an Audi and the engine compartment is packed so it could be somewhere else.

Service manual says from under dash one on each side of trany tunnel, near front of console on inside, through a connection to outside, so likely 2 on outside as well, one each side of tranny:



There is also a plenum drain that is under the washer fluid reservoir. Pour water in plenum to find that one.

I see, may we assume that the a/c is not working and or not dehumidifying the air inside?

cmg_r has a thread about his A6 to RS6 conversion. Post 175 has a picture of it with the engine out.I don't see any outlets. They might be under the heat shields.
