Sirius receivers $40.00
Replacementradios.com has new Sirius radios for the D3. If you need a replacement or want to add one, now is the time to do it.
OEM car radios. Factory stereo repair. Discount prices.
These have the single antenna connector. Not to worry, the brown antenna lead (terrestrial) is not used by sirius/xm anymore.

Careful as one of the radios didn't work with the other or vice versa. I believe you have to have the XM satellite radio in order to use the new bands of both XM/Sirius after them combined. Search the threads.
Audiheavy, very odd yours didn't come with satellite radio.
Update: I remember, the Sirius receiver didn't pull in signal very well for many people and many users switched to the XM radio and had no issues. The part number for the XM tuner is 4E0 057 593A

Any of the ones beginning with 4E0 should work. I bought the F suffix. Works well. My radio was stamped Sirius, not SiriusXM.
I had the 4E0 057 593A and put in the 4E0 057 593F. Ran the update CD which reflashed the firmware, and I was done. No more dropouts on certain channels in certain locations.
I ordered another one with an 8e0 part number. I will let you know what happens.
On the MMI it says "Radio Sirius" not XM like it did before. My wifes 08 says "Radio Sirius" as well.
If someone wants an XM radio, I will sell my old one.

Drops out with tall buildings and overpasses. Work great when signal is not blocked.
Wish there was an HD Radio module. So much of the local programming I like is now HD only.
The XM is great, but no news, traffic, or weather. I drive a lot working and lack of traffic updates is much needed.

The cure is to get a Sirius radio instead of XM. You can tell the difference by looking at the channel list. If there is no channel 1, then it is sirius. If channel 1 exists, then it is XM. The labelling on the MMI is also a dead giveaway.

My A8 came with one that always works. Must have lifetime subscription.
