Default TTRS Vs TTS Mag Ride

Does anyone know if there is a difference other than springs? I've found a new lowering spring but it's listed for the TTRS mag ride.

Also looks like some "special" dealers are getting TTRS roadsters with manual transmission lol.

Same bogus ad also posted on Fourtitude. Neither manual tranny nor roadster for the TTS or TTRS is going to happen in the US, even as "specials". Cost of US certification testing alone would be too prohibitive to produce specials.

Well then someone copied my post or had the same thing come up at their local dealer.

I know there isn't a manual mk3 TTS or TTRS nor a roadster version available for US markets. I've had a couple of Audis and follow the news a bit. Hence the lol at the end of the statement. Probably not a deliberate error but a system error populating information or fields not completed / edited when they were entered.

More importantly, does anyone know the difference between the mag ride on the mk3 TTS vs TTRS. I want to know if some H&R springs for the TT-RS mag ride will fit the TTS.

The ones I found are a 1" drop in the front and .8" in the rear. I also would assume this is over the standard TTRS drop so it would be a good bit more than an inches in the front and .8 in the back for a TTS.

My logic says they shocks / struts are not the same since the original springs specs are different. Audi engineers would most likely develop them to match the spring in my opinion. However, maybe the tolerance is okay.

I was under the impression that both the MK3 TTS and RS share the same drop from the base TT. Not sure if that translates to the same spring heights & tensions.

Thanks...

"The TT RS featured a 0.4 inch lower ride height like the TTS and featured optional Audi Magnetic Ride"

From a site that took excerpts from a few other sites. That's good. The lowering springs are from H&R. Someone on here ordered the TTS ones for the setup without MRC and isn't complaining. They have a different part number for the TT-RS w/ MRC though and no part listed for a TTS with MRC.

Ridiculous that h and r releases a h and r kit for the tts thats non magnetic yet tts is magnetic only, and releases a magnetic ride kit spring for the ttrs when the mag ks optional! So backwards!

general conceous think it kits. Like the b8 platform u can use the same coilover kit for the a4, s4, a5, s5, and rs5

lets pray

Correct. The difference is the tuning, but they are the same ride height.
