DIY Pollen Filter replacement?

DIY Pollen Filter replacement?
Going for the first oil change. The deal wants $115 for the part alone, plus installation time charge. I have always done these DIY but I don't know where the filter is located on this car nor how easy/hard it is to replace? Do you guys know how to replace it? Do you recommend any specific filter as a replacement?
Along the same lines, the dealer also recommended an alignment at 20k miles. I don't see any wear on the tires indicating alignment issue - my thought is that the car shouldn't need it - what do you guys think?

I know there's a cabin air filter which I'm unsure as to where it exactly is, I thought it was accessed through the glove compartment? But a pollen filter I've never heard of.

It is under and behind the glove box, just like on a recent A6 looks like. The foam thing cover is held in place by 3 tabs that you loosen with a screwdriver, then release. if the floor is clean it is not too bad, get your head under the glove box and use a flashlight:

Awesome! Thank you - now I just need to buy a filter that will fit. Do you know of a place to buy one that will fit or get OEM for a reasonable price (dealer wanted over $100 for the part).
this site says that their filter works but lists years from 2011 - 2017 so that makes me wonder if their info is correct.

The Audi part no is: 4M0819439A and the 4M is the key to indicate Gen2 Q7.
Cairid website seems to think the Hastings will fit, only $17, worth a try. The genuine Audi part runs about $32, get one of each and you'll be set for a while.
On my A6 same price difference with Hengst filter looking identical to OEM, 1/2 price, made in germany.

Do you know how to replace the engine Air filter? for 2.0 Q7 2018
And do you regularly change your oil for your 2.0 Q7?
I feel the car runs worlds smoother when oil is changed,
I plan on changing oil every 5000km
either at independent shop or maybe DIY

Check this thread here, the air filter box cover comes off easy, 2 clips at front, careful not to lose them, getting to the oil filter takes extra steps:

Also, there is a long thread here "DIY Oil Change".
