Waiting Over :)
I ordered my 2017 Q7 Premium Plus 3.0 on February 1st, arrived in Port (Davisville RI) on April 13th and picked up at my dealer in Cleveland Ohio on the April 27th. I ordered a Night Black Q7, Black Interior with High Gloss Black/Grey Oak Inlays, Driver Assitance Package, Cold Weather Package, 20" Wheels, Tow Package, Bose.
Luckily I had a little bit of sun the day I picked it up and took a few shots. I will get some more once the weather clears here.
I have already put 500 miles on her over the last few days. I have loved driving it. I have enjoyed the Driver's Assistance Package. The high beam assist works great. The adaptive cruise control works as advertised (I find I use the shortest distance between cars). The Lane assist takes a little getting used to but works great. The traffic sign recognition works as well (I found I turned off the blinking warning).
The MMI has plenty of features and I am still working on getting things set the way I like. I played a little bit with Apple Car Play. I keep my phone plugged in at all times to help keep it charged. I found it to be almost and either or proposition...as it doesnt seem to allow you to easily bounce between Carplay and the other MMI. Will need to do a little more testing. Having driven in my buddy's Tesla this weekend when we went out...I can't help but think all automotive interfaces should be going that route. It was very intuitive.
I ordered the roof rack after the fact. I went ahead installed the Audi Roof Rails and those went in super easy. Took less than 5 minutes from the time I opened the box to them being full installed.
I will post some more pictures later today as we are supposed to have some nice weather. For now, these are from the day I picked her up.
