I thought I'd share some of my excitement for my new car. Took delivey on Saturday. 2017 S6 Premium Plus, Daytona Gray with Black optics, ACC, and sport package. I ordered this car in December and had to wait exactly four months for delivery.
Prior to this I've had:
'08 A6 P+ (3.2 FSI),
'11 A6 P+ (3.0T), and
'14 A6 Prestige (3.0T)
I am really glad to finally be joining the S club. Even though I've read a lot of what's been posted here since my first A6, I am still quite surprised to learn first-hand what this car with its 4.0T can do. Amazing. Simply put, it is able to power around seemingly without effort. And it stays planted and handles so much better than my prior cars. And that shifting and sound! Thanks to everyone here who helped me to understand that I really should include the sports package. It's incredible.
Haha. Riced out ... FTW!!! It's an electric charger. They put the car in the space for the electric vehicle. When we picked it up my son asked if I had purchased and electric car. Maybe the C8 will have an e-tron version?!?!
Congrats! That's is one nice S6! I wish my keys of my '16 S5 came with that nice presentation box.
I'm glad I knew there is such a box, having seen it here from others. The delivery was very casual and the specialist had set aside the box to just hand me the keys so that I could get to the driving part. I think she might have thrown it out if I wouldn't have asked for it. What a waste that would have been. I want my red box!
