Redesign A6 ???
#2
Changes are minor for 2018, probably won't expect a new model til 2019 as they are rolling out the new A5 and Q5 and A8 later this year. For 2018 the A6/A7 do receive a power bump though. See below

The current suggestion is that it will be early 2018 before the C8 is launched here in Europe (may even not be until the Geneva show in March) with first shipments starting in the summer. It was notable that when Audi announced the changes for the MY18 version of the current car (aapplies to all cars built from this week onwards) there were almost no changes to the A6. It is normal for Audi to start offering standard models heavily loaded with options in the period coming up to a replacement and that has not happened (yet!), suggesting the new model's launch is some way off. The A8 will be first car launched using the new platform and associated technology and that is likely to be in September at the Frankfurt show. I would think it will be late Summer 2018 at the earliest before you start to see the new A6 in the US, based on the usual 6-9 month lag folloing the European launch

I'm going to be needing a new A6 in 2018 and I'm really hoping that the super-charger is still the engine at that time (I think the 3.0 TFSI engine is one of the best things about the car).

Is that power bump due to the upcoming switch to turbo? or will that still use the super-charger?

I am waiting for the dealer to provide the A6 2018 price sheet so I can order. He said next year is the new platform. The 2018 price sheet was suppose to be end of May but 2017 inventory is slowing that price sheet down. I know the forum has posted the 2018 A6 price guide but that seems to be missing at the local dealership when I asked last month...
