S5 SB Shipment Delays in North West
Went to see OR dealership last week to check in on my S5 SB order. Have been told for a while it would reach port 5/22-5/23 and salesman reiterated that date last week in person.
Got an email today that delivery to Port is now 6/8 and his explanation was "The ocean is a big place".
I had found shipping info through the website about a month ago which did confirm there was a Volkswagen shipment with a ETA 5/23 however there is also one with 6/8. I'm guessing the dealership made an error with which boat my car was on.
Thought there would be some fellow Oregonians that would be interested in this info as I am pretty certain no S5 SB's have made it our way yet. Guess we are waiting a little longer.

Man that sucks... The waiting is the hardest part.
Looks like yours must be on the ship named Columbia Highway, which left Emden on May 20th. Looks like it is scheduled to arrive in Houston on June 7th, after making stops in Halifax and then Davisville, RI. You can track the ship here https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...MBIA%20HIGHWAY

It is pretty common that the ship changes while the cars are in Emden. I know that my last car sat in Emden while three ships left for Davisville. It made it on the 4th ship and was about a month later than expected.

Dealership stands corrected. My S5 SB was released to carrier today and should arrive in 5-10 days at Audi Beaverton. So any other Oregonians who have been waiting there should be a few there next week.

That's awesome to hear. You will have to post pictures once you take delivery.

Looks like the Splendid Ace arrived in Houston late on the 23rd (it is currently still in port). Hopefully it gets loaded on a truck soon headed your way. I believe since it is a sold order it gets truck transport vs rail to the North West and then trucked to the dealer.
