Default HID headlight going yellow

Hi Folks,
I have a 2005 A8 with about 120k miles. Today I noticed that the left xenon is a little yellow compared to the right. They are both the original bulbs. Should I just replace both bulbs or could something else be wrong?
Thanks for your help.
Adil

Both of course, if you replace one you are gonna have the same problem just more noticeable lol (OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER UNLIMITED) is a good choice.

The range and clarity is definitely improved. Have a look:

The OSRAM Nightbreakers are pure white, not yellow. Do not confuse them with the CBI bulbs from OSRAM which are slightly blue.

How bright are the nightbreakers and what bulb type are you referring to?

We are referring to the CBI D1/2/3 models.. as those seem to be more yellow vs our 5500K, not blue though:

This is at startup car is off.

Here is after 2min and the car is on bulbs now fully warmed up

You can see the osram on the left is more yellow than the deautokey on the right. As far as brightness goes they are equal if not deautokey is a tad brighter. This is their 5500k color. In person the color is pure white with a hint of blue. Way better than oem imo

Don't mind the dirty headlight

So overall I'm very happy with the deautokey set that I bought. And it costs less than the Sylvania osram. Another reason I like them is every other bulb so far has been great and deautokey is an active member on here and backs their product.

Hope this helps

Default S8

I noticed last night that my 07 S8 right low beam is turning a reddish hue. Would this be a bulb problem as well?

How long have you had these bulbs installed?

This can happen to xenon and you should replace them as they lose brightness after 5+ years.

Sometimes called pink eye. Bulb is heading south. Replace both; you will benefit from more useable light with fresh bulbs too.
