Has anyone done the APR stage 1 tune for 2013-2015 4.0 T A8? Any thoughts on performance, reliability, dealer warranty?

Why create two identical threads?

Performance is well documented on APR's website. Reliability is driven by too many variables to simplify into an answer. Many users have had no issues. Some have.

As for warranty, an APR flash will likely lead to TD1 flag, which will give dealers and Audi an easy ability to decline warranty coverage for any issues they deem related to the flash. As with all performance tuning, there's risk involved and you have to pay to play.

Whether or not the risk is worth the reward is a question only you can answer for yourself.

I asked this same question not long ago, and it seemed to be regarded as effective and reliable as it was power train warranty voiding.

Worth it. How could 550hp and 630tq be questioned lol if it's a 13 you're OOW by years anyways. Enjoy it!

Not out of warranty if it was CPO'd or carries it from another company. It's a worthwhile upgrade, if you enjoy that sort of thing and warranty is not a concern.

A tune on these Turbo engines are worth every penny!
question is, does the powertrain warranty really worth it to you ?

If you have a local APR dealer and time to take off/on between dealership visits, then it is definitely worth it and will not trigger a TD1 flag (for now). In addition, if you have access to E85 or 93 then the power rewards are even higher.

I had it on my 4.0T and don't know how (or why) I drove the car without it...

I'm in the market for this tune, intercooler, and dual pulley upgrade for my 3.0 I found an APR dealer that is actually an Audi dealership. It's kind of pricey at $3500 but the increase in torque and power is pretty stuning on the 3.0 as well.
