Default Options to "code" a Q7?

I had great fun enabling or disabling features that are hidden within my X5. There were a number of 3rd party services who did a great job "coding" your car. Any such services for a Q7?

Yup, there sure is! Its called Vag-Com. Unfortunately I believe you need the latest and greatest tool for the Q7, its the Hex-Net.

OBDeleven which is a dongle that works with an andriod app works well.

You dont really need help. Its very straight forward. I'm the least techy person out there, and I did it.

You don't need Vag-Com which is super expensive. Buy the obdeleven dongle from their website, and load it onto an Android phone or tablet. Its really easy.

VCDS/VagCom is no longer the tool of choice? Is this because of cost or because of functionality?

Cost.

ODBEleven is €54. I think VagCom is over $200

The Vag-Com Hex Net is $449 bucks! However that is what Audi technicians use with full functionality. I have always used Vag-Com on my car but it does seem that OBDeleven tool is pretty cost effective. Based on the little research I did it does seem that you wouldn't have full functionality, well at least at this point. I am going to get one of those OBDeleven tools to fart around with though.

From what I could tell by reading the VagCom thread over in the A4 board (I think) there doesn't seem to be anything people have figured out for it vs obdeleven. Not sure what "full functionality" means, but in terms of things people have enabled/disabled, they seem to be identical. For a LOT less money.

Here's a link to purchase OBD-11 in the US: https://deutscheautoparts.com/vw-aud...obdeleven.html

And here's a really good thread on another board for Q7 coding options:
