Whatever springs you do get ,get shocks too. I tried just lowering an inch with eibach springs
and oem shocks. The ride was odd and bouncy somewhat. I added monk orange shocks n struts. Great combo.

I think that's dependent on mileage...low mile shocks might be okay but I worn noes might not like being lower in addition to being tired.

30,000 on them. Not exactly high mileage. I just think "being ok" is not preferable. Depends on how you drive and where you drive too.

Jesus...yeah, I would NOT have thought it would be a bad pairing at that mileage.
Okay, duly noted...bilstein full coils if I lower.

Yeah, I learned the hard way. I had a shop put on the coils first. Then drove for a few months with eibach coils and original shocks. Plus they didn't trim the bump stops like you're supposed to. It was just a harsh weird suspension.
added the koni's and trimmed the bumps myself. Still have to watch out for the big street dips and potholes. But it drives awesome. Especially at an auto cross!
