Estimated lead time on special order
What is the lead time on a special order 2018 Q7?
Does anyone have an idea how many special order 2018 Q7's are being built?

there is no way to tell how many special order Q7's there are in the pipeline now, or any time in the future.
How long it takes if it is ordered now? Would likely see it in October at some point, barring any unforeseen delays in production/transport etc

Yeah. Just ordered 2018 Q7. Now just have to wait for fall. Hopefully college football season will help pass the time before it arrives.

The plant which the Q7 is built went on strike. The production might be delayed. My car order for the 2018 Audi Q7 was placed with the factory on 6/13 and the car has a production week of September 18th. Not sure now since they went on strike and now with a production halt.

Order placed on 03/06 for MY2017. Bumped off production and upgraded to MY2018 - 04/10 (new COMM issued). Build completed 5/30. Hopefully on the boat now for US side delivery by 6/21 in RI. Probably at dealer (NYC) beginning of July.
