All are great cars and have distinct selling points. For me, it boiled down to the perfect combination of sporty drive with luxury and the Audi SQ5 won. I test drove the 17 BMW 35i and found there to be significantly more road noise than the Audi. My sister just purchased a GLC300 and it's beautiful, but I prefer a slightly sportier interior. Go with what appeals to you!

They have improved the looks of the X3, like Audi did with the Q5. I'm biased, but I still like the Q5 exterior and interior better. The BMW seems busy and the Audi business-like.

Just goes to show how we are all different, with different tastes. I was not impressed with the interior in the new Q5. There car drives great, and the layout of the interior is spot on, but there is just too much hard black plastics in the interior. Audi has a reputation of making nice interior, but I think they cheapened out on this one. The virtual cockpit is nice, but once the newness wear off, I don't think it will be as exciting. Don't take this post as criticizing you for your purchase, I'm just emphasizing how we all have different taste.

Had a 330XiT and enjoyed it, in part for its simplicity. The 2018 X3 is more aggressive and 'vette-like, with mixed materials inside and out. Not my stein of beer.

The only way I'd consider the X3 is if it were a diesel. I stopped by a local BMW dealer a couple of weeks ago, and he seems to think their diesels will return. I wonder...
