Default MMI issues - 2008 Q7

I am having a couple different issues with my Audi's MMI. First when the interior of the truck gets hot, the complete MMI for the Radio, NAV, CD, etc. will not work. All it says on the screen is initializing device or downloading stations on Sirius. The clock on the display screen usually shows 12:00 am and will not count up and until the interior of the vehicle cools off usually 30-45 minutes after driving home from work , then all of a sudden the radio, NAV, etc. all start to work like there was not an issue. I have used the VAG-COM to see if I can see any errors or issues but nothing is displayed. When I have tried to reset all of the TLC's with the VAG-COM - it will not do it and locks up at the very end.

The second issue is we usually have an IPOD connected to the unit. I accidently disconnected when it was on the IPOD playing music. The picture is what is now displayed when I am trying to connect an IPOD or USB port to the media player. Even with nothing connected, the same message appears. I have pulled the fuses like recommended on other forums but still no luck. According to SNAP ON - they reference a Firmware update that may need to be installed.

I am open to any suggestions.

Try the MMI reboot - three buttons held.
1.Locate button: SETUP button. big control ****. upper-right soft button.
2.Press and hold those button at the same time.
3.After two seconds release buttons. Audi MMI screen will go black for few seconds and system will reboot.
