Q7 battery
My Q& is 2010, Diesel, 3.0 and I'm looking for a new battery. However, there are too many brands around and i could not really trust the opinion of a sale person.
Around my local i have : Century, Varta, Repco and several other brands that i cant remember.
What would you recommend for a good and reasonable price?

Varta will be fine along with many other good makes, it's not really that critical providing it has the correct terminals and the casing is the same for fixing it securely. The main factor is making sure it the of very similar capacity and cold cranking amperage.
Once fitted, make sure the new battery coding change is carried out to ensure the battery management knows there is a new battery fitted.

I replaced my 2nd OEM battery with an Autonation Lifetime AGM battery for $280 plus coding.
The reason I went with this battery is because I plan on keeping my '07 4.2 a long time, and their warranty includes labor for recoding the vehicle if the battery ever fails. Labor at a dealer to install and program the battery usually runs about an hour of shop time ($120+)since the battery is located under the drivers seat and the seat needs to be tilted back to access the battery.
Regardless of whether you have a new battery installed, or DIY, make sure you get the coding/programming done or you'll have issues with the battery not charging correctly and eventually ruin your new battery.
