Ok, been reading and searching for the answer...can this be disabled?

In my '15 F-Type, that's the very first button I turn off immediately upon start-up.

When I test drove the S5, I don't remember it being enabled, does it turn off automatically when in dynamic mode...as it does in the Jaguar?

It sure can. There is a button with an A and circle around it that disables it. I also believe it is disabled in sport mode. I also find it annoying and simply drive in sport mode most of the time.

Thanks for that...like I said I didn't remember it interfering with my test drive.

I sure need to find a PDF of the manual so I can read up beforehand...

It defaults back to active every time you restart the car. It is a pain in the **** for those of us that don't like the function.

If you don't have VIN yet, just to a Google Search for a 2018 Audi S5 VIN and use that to gain access to the manual.

I hate auto stop/start!

Obdeleven tool can disable Auto Start/Stop... it can also unlock VIM (Video in Motion) to use with the center screen. I have done the VIM. Auto Start/Stop does not bother me .... yet... I may do it later at some point.
