Hi All,

I have a 2017 Q7 with more than 15,000 miles now.
I did her first only change for free at dealer at 10,000 miles.

How often does Audi say we need to change the oil?
Does the computer tell us?

Someone people I know religiously change oil every 5,000 miles.

Thoughts?

I believe the standard interval is every 10K miles. Some people do the first one at 5K on the view that more particles may be in the oil due to engine break-in.

Is it really a mileage interval? Even my 1999 Mercedes - 19 years old now, used the power of computers to do it based on engine rotations, driving conditions, temperatures, etc.
