Looking for help here...
So during my ordering process for my car I realized that in other regions other than North America there are two option codes that allow for this.
The codes are:
Option Code 9ZE (Audi Phone Box )

Option Code GB1 (LTE Phone box preparation)



Is there a way to obtain the part numbers that make up these option so I can order them?
Can they be retrofitted?

Thanks for posting this. I am wondering the same thing as well. Saw the reviews for the European models they all have the wireless charging pad. This is going to become essential with the new iphones coming out

North American models have wireless charging too. The phone box is a complicated install as you need to hook up the antenna connection to the antenna on the roof.

I was wondering if option GB1 is already installed for the Wi-Fi spot option and Audi connect services.

I thought this was "standard" equipment on all US models?

No actually is quite the opposite. I went thru the 2018 MY ordering guide for the USA and no model offers it even as an option.

Take a look at this image I found in another post....I don't think we have wireless charging based on that image compared to what ours look like.

Yeah I don't think we have. I have seen the center compartment in video reviews of the european models. The question is can we get this part and retrofit it in our cars

We should be able to considering it is offered in other regions. But it will probably be a hefty cost with the installation if they have to install it the way JohnEnglish mentioned about connecting to the Antenna.
