Great work. you're not too far off where I am.

We picked up a 2007 A6 Avant about 6 months ago from a local dealer who ended up paying out of their pocket, for a audi dealership to do an entire rebuild of our engine, right down to pulling the heads! Zero cost to us. With that being done, I decided to take the plunge and pour some cash into upgrades

Like you, I was going to get the Koni FSD's, but they were on back order for eons. Ordered the bilstein b8 shocks with eibach springs. They are sitting on the shelf with all other brand new suspension bits as I am refreshing the entire setup. The lip you got looks great, but I ended up with another variant from overseas. (sitting on wall pending painting I plan to order a matching diffuser in the coming weeks. Very interested to see what skirts you got, can you post a link please?

I've done more internal mod work for mine. I found a nice cheap RCA video input box from italy that allows me to intergrade video into the car. I added the Gateway 500 as well. And the real fun piece, added a Mirabox 5G that allows for Wifi/USB connectivity for Airplay audio and video so that I can use my iphone in the car. Same box supports android mirroring as well. Great seeing google maps and video real time while driving. Best you can really get out of a 2G MMI setup. I've also been eye balling the H&R rear sway bar. read great things and it seems to be the common sense part to add if you are going to all the work to change the suspension.

Anyways I will get a build thread going soon too!

I found these on eBay (along with splitter and diffuser).

Audi A6 4F C6 04-11 Performance S Line SIDE SKIRTS SIDESKIRTS SILL COVERS S6 RS6 eBay

BTW, the pic of my engine was taken 5 months ago, the coolant has since been topped off, and the car has been runnng cool. Thanks for the concern!
