I have just had the message that there is an adblue fault and my car won't start in 1,000kms, what is this all about. I just put 5 litres of adblue in 10 days ago.

It can be reset with a Diagnostics tool (VCDS/Vag-Com), but its supposed to reset on its own.. might park it on an incline, its got 2 tanks and the lower tank could be vapor locked or something.

it can take more than 5 liters to reset the system. It holds 26 liters iirc. I always buy two 2 1/2 GALLON bottles and when I service at 10000 miles it holds all or nearly all of the fluid. You do have to rocke the vehicle some to release trapped air and get the fluid to flow down to the larger lower tank. Listen for the sound of it trickling down.
