Default Breeds' 2018 S5 Sportback Build Thread

Hello guys,

I've been posting here and there while waiting for my Navarra Blue S5 Sportback order to arrive. Hurricane Harvey delayed it, but it made it on September 6th and I picked it up on the 15th.
Anyways, here are pics below. I already had all my aftermarket parts sitting in the garage and waiting for the car to arrive so I could install them. 123

So far, I have done the following:

1. Installed 2017 S4 WeatherTech mats in the interior (the S4 mats fit the S5). I used an Audi OEM 2018 A5 Sportback cargo mat as there is not an S5 labeled one.

2. Llumar CTX 5% Ceramic Tint all around.

3. Hardwired Escort radar detector and Blackvue DR650S 2CH dash camera system.

4. 034 Motorsports S4 drop springs. These ride very good. One of the best coils I've ever rode on.

5. Savini True Directional 20x10 wheels all around wrapped with Continental 275/30/20 DWS 06 tires. +33 offset all around. I like how Savini let's buyers choose offsets and bolt patterns. They sit flush with the fender and no rubbing at all. No spacers buy it was a tight fit.

I'll be blacking out all the silver trim (rear bumper and side S5 badges) soon. Also have replacement mirror caps and Black Optic grilles coming from Germany.

Now on to the pics.

Absolutely stunning! What suspension is that? Wheels are nice and tasteful too. That dark, menacing look without being full black - which I will forever think looks like steel wheels.

Edit: just read the wheel manufacturer in your OP.

Nice! I love the lines on the SB, i wish my coupe had a bit more character around the back window frame.

Great taste in cars. That is a sick looking Sportback. From looking at your link, the drop was 1.1"? That's a little more than the H&R's which are 0.8". How has the ride quality been?

Here in Ohio, the maximum tint allowed by law is 50%, I'm living on the wild side with a 40% tint. I'm blown away by the 5% tint -- how is it at night? At that degree of tint it almost seems you could look at the eclipse of the sun. I sat in a demo car with a 20% tint, it is blowing my mind at 5%.

Having said all of this, your SB is stunning. I keep reading that Audi will be bringing an RS5 SB to the US as a '19 model. After reading the test report of the RS5 coupe in the October Road & Track and seeing yours, I'm trying to "justify" trading my '18 S4.

Congrats on a great looking S5 SB!
