Default Coating on a new Q7?

Is it worth buying the paint protection on a new 2018 Q7?

no. I am not aware of any dealer coating that is worth it.

CJ, you'll want to seek out a professional detailer in your area who can help you with a ceramic coating.

Here's what I do:

Immediately detail the vehicle completely (they don't need much being shipped fully covered). Then after each wash I use this https://www.eagleone.com/wax-as-u-dry# which keeps the finish extremely well protected and buttery smooth with fresh carnauba and being renewed with every wash (this is not a light detail spray). Your paint must still be kept free from contaminants by claying etc. but my full detail schedule has been cut by 70% using this product.

Some of my vehicles have been spared serious paint damage, as an example my black XKR had major bird $hit bake into the paint for 6 hours in the S FL hot summer sun...after cleaning I found no visible damage to the paint even under the powerful lighting in my garage. The product has 4.7 stars/90 reviews on Amazon and is good for your paint, I 've been using it for years.

No, of course not.

I paid my friend $100 to apply DuraGloss 105 sealant.
