Default Audi Exclusive paint on an S4

All - Exploring Exclusive paint as I don't care for the palette of gray's, silvers, blacks, etc. and Gotland Green is not available with Black Optic (Another head scratching decision by Audi USA product planners). Thoughts on ease and wait times are appreciated.

Add three months to your order (so about six months total). You get a booklet of around 150 colors to choose from IIRC. Other than that the process is about the same as any other custom order. It is usually more popular to lease exclusive colors vs. buy them due to how the cost/residual/depreciation works out.

Well this is convenient. I'm a long time lurker who just joined to post about this very question. I ordered an S4 with exclusive paint color (Sepang Blue) on 9/22. As of last week (7 weeks) my order is still on wait list with no ETA. I was told to be patient by the order specialist at the dealer but I'll admit it's tough. I actually planned it out 6 months in advance because I'm turning in a Lexus lease in March and wanted the S4 to be delivered by then. If it showed up early then no biggie. Glad to hear that 6 months was a good estimate.

Thanks - I keep cars 150-200k miles so I buy. I like Moonlight but it’s not an S4 color. Navarra is too purple for me. I did hear Gotland was available and there was a car on the ground on Long Island but the configurator would not let me build it.

My two cents: if you're going to spend over five grand on a looks package, at least get something truly special and not Gotland Green which is available without BO right now for $575. I'd love an S4 in Porche's Guards Red. I heard a rumor such an order might be possible but I don't ball hard enough for exclusive paint so I never asked.

I'm not sure if I saw the same car as you, but I've been searching inventory around different states looking for BO package vehicles, and I swear I saw one in the NYC area that was Prestige with Gotland Green and the BO Package. Maybe it was a special custom order for the dealer? I'll try and find it with a link.

A local dealer here said Audi also charges a $1,200 (maybe it was $1,500) surcharge for 'letting' them build you a custom car, on top of the extra $3,500 or so for the paint. I'm not sure if that's something which can be negotiated or not.

Yes - I have been advised Gotland is now available w/ BO. There is a link to one on the ground on Long Island (Biener Audi) over on Audizine and there was no Exclusive charge. The configurator still does not allow that combo though. Thanks!

Gotland Green is indeed available with B/O. Here's one locally to me for sale as we speak.....
