Default 2017 Q7 3.0 as daily?

Looking to purchase CPO 2017 Q7 3.0 FWD for a daily driver... or should i skip and get the new 2018 ?
any advise ? what are you guys getting for MPG?
any issues i should be aware off?

No material differences 2018 v 2017 but you can investigate here on the forum. I have had mine for about 1200 miles and mileage on the highways seems to be about 24-26 and around town more like 18. I've been driving it exclusively in D versus S and am not particularly aggressive. Mileage certainly not the best feature of the Q7. I came from a diesel X5 which was markedly better. That said, as a package, the Q7 blows the X5 away.

I agree with the 24-26 mpg on the highway and more like 20 in the city. Driven always in D and engine/tranny in comfort mode in a 2018 prestige. Used to have a Q5 and didn't have any issues with that car or the Q7 at the moment.

Why a FWD? Kind of defeats one of the primary purposes of buying an Audi (i.e Quattro).

i m curious to hear what others are averaging on gas ?

That's why I asked you about the FWD, since you'd be 1 of 1 to have that...and would have been quite the strange unicorn

2017 Audi Q7 MPG - Actual MPG from 35 2017 Audi Q7 owners

I'm getting 20.7 overall. Best tank was 25 mpg (98% highway)
