A7 wheels on A6?
Hello All,
I have a 2014 A6 3.0T with the 20" wheel package with the following size/offset: 20" x 8.5", 5 Lug, 112mm Bolt Pattern, 45mm Offset
I found a really good deal on Craigslist for a set of stock 20" wheels from an A7 with the following size/offset: 20" x 9", 5 Lug, 112mm Bolt Pattern, 37mm Offset. - which were used on the 2014 A7.
Will these fit? I know the offset is significantly different, but surely the A6 does not have bigger brakes than the A7?
I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

The offset is less, so brake interference is unlikely; the A7 wheels will likely have more clearance on the brakes rather than less. Because the wheels are wider and the offset is less, the wheels will protrude outward more, so fender clearance may be an issue. Inside edge of the wheel should be in roughly the same spot for both sets.

I wouldn't brush it off that quickly. The A7 wheels are also wider, so inner lip stays roughly the same, while outer lip protrudes nearly 3/4 of an inch further. That's significant.

Hello All,
I just wanted to come full circle on this. I pulled the trigger on the wheels and they fit perfectly with no issues. I am using these as my winters and mounted them with Pirelli Winter 240 Sotto Zero Serie II Snow Tires - very very pleased.
Here is a pic of the car with summer set up:

Also, just for fun, here is a quick little adaptor that I built for my jack that fits the Audi jack spot perfectly:

Nice milling machine. Is it CNC? There isn't anything like making your own stuff.
