Hey Guys,

My third brake light rattles like crazy... is there a way to remove it so that I can put some felt in there?

Removing it can result in the plastic housing breaking if you're not careful. It's held in by 2 metal clips. It usually rattles when the light is not seated correctly. It should be flush and very tight against the window. If not, try pushing it back hard towards the headliner. Here is how it is removed if you would like to try (I'm assuming it's the same on a B9 A4 as most Audi sedans have been using the same style third brake light for years).

EDIT: Different part numbers, but the design seems pretty much identical to the examples I posted.

Your car still has to be under warranty, take it to the dealer then if they break something trying to fix it they have to replace it.

have you managed to fix the rattle? and if you changed the part, does the rattle occured again after a period of time?
