Ok, yes that does happen.....

I am assuming though that you are asking a question rather than stating the obvious. Truth is I have wondered about it myself - could it be dangerous, limiting the car's ability to make a turn of does it cause enough rubbing to affect tread life?

It happens to all vehicles, even trucks and SUVs. Some weather conditions are worse than others. Snow in the wheel wells isn't as bad as snow inside the rim which can unbalance the wheel but can usually be knocked off with the end of a snow brush.

Good points and well illustrated. Another reason I went with 17" wheels on my new snow tires.
