Default Jukebox question:

So, we have a hard drive with 10gb of space to fill with music. The manual states that for legal reasons it is not possible to import music via CD player. So, how do you import your music into it? Ideally I would like to fill it with some lossless music, and I wish to learn how! thanks.

Have you tried a USB stick? Otherwise I would just look to stream it from your phone via BT

...no, did not try USB, but I went out a got an SD card instead (32GB). Unless I missed it, I still can't find information on the manual regarding the formats playable via MMI. Anyone? Thanks

I wouldn't wast time using the 'jukebox' internal storage. Just grab a decent high capacity SD card, load it up with music from your computer, stick it in the slot in the glovebox and forget it. 10G is a tiny amount of storage, I have a 128G sd card that is almost full with mp3's right now, and whenever I acquire new music I just have to pull the sd card and do a quick sync on the computer. Also, having all of your tunes on one source makes it easier when shuffling songs in the MMI.

you're absolutely right, the jukebox is superfluous, I just tried the SD and works beautifully! I bought a 32gb because the manual didn't say anything about SDXC's... I thought that was max accepted. So would a 516gb work?
Thanks again.

look into my thread above, seems like that larger size works fine.
