Default Heat / AC acting on its own ??? Anyone ?
So I'm driving the other day on my way home and I have the heat on at 72 degrees, about 10 min into the drive I notice that the A/C is ON.... I started the my drive with the A/C Off , does anyone experienced similar situation ?? It happened to me Twice in 2 days .....

If it is in auto, this is normal.

Yes, because AC + heat is the quickest way to keep an interior defrosted. Auto mode will almost always turn on AC.

When I don't need defrost, I hit the AUTO button and turn the AC off. The auto light stays lit and the AC stays off even when I change temperature.

I only turn the AC on when I want cooling.
