Interesting. I have not seen that before. All that I have seen are smooth black plastic. I still don't like that they are fake but I can get over it. Can any 2018 SQ5 owners comment on any reduction in sooting the back bumper and hatch because of the downturned exhaust? I drove a Macan GTS for a while and the only way to keep it looking really good was to clean the soot off every day. The dual exhaust tips looked great, but they were a pain.

I actually prefer this too. Are the newer cars showing up with this now?

Out of curiosity, what are the first three numerical digits of your vin? Mine is a 210xxxx and I have the solid panels; not the mesh.

This is interesting stuff. Looks like Audi didn't ignore all the negative criticism regarding the fake exhaust. Although this is still fake, it does indeed look better than the original design.

Now let's see what the necessary part numbers are so us early adopters can retrofit this onto our cars.

I prefer no pattern. Collects less dirt and doesn't call out the fake.

Mine is also Moonlight Blue, also has a VIN staring with 210xxxx , and looks exactly like the OP's.
