VOLUME GOES TO NO SOUND OUTPUT
I haven't figured out whether or not any particular function causes this, but on occasion my volume setting goes from where I have it set back to no sound output. At times I will push the console's infotainment button to play media audio and get no sound and have to restore my volume setting by turning the button clockwise. And, I have missed several incoming phone calls due not hearing the phone ringing. If there is any setting that is causing this, I cannot find it in the manual or by trial and error.

I think it's because pushing the console button -- is that what you mean by "console's infotainment button"? -- pauses playback and / or mutes volume depending on the source. It would pause MP3 playback, for example, while also muting incoming calls (although they would show on he display).
I don't use that button myself to "play" anything. It just plays when I select the source.
