Hi, I have an Audi A8 2006 3.0 TDI. I recently installed aux AMI in the system, because from fabric it does not support Aux cable. However, my question is how do I make the system display the song playing on Spotify. It just says "external cable is connected" or something around that. Anyone familiar with this, or have any solutions?

It's been a long time since I installed AMI, so I'm not sure of the procedure, but as I recall some downloaded source material doesn't display.

Funny thing, the first title I ever noticed displayed was from a store bought CD, and it was "Running on empty", and my first reaction was that I was about to run out of gas! True story, Mike

Simple as that and that's not an AUDI or AMI thing, no system delivers tagged info over AUX since it's just analog sound. Connecting a USB with tagged MP3's or an Ipod works

I also have an USB connection, however it stills shows the same
