Ipod SD Card MMI
Hello all, I have just got my Audi A4 B9 last week and I love it so far. I now want to play my music and wondering what people are using.
1) Option 1- Ipod
I have tried a Classic 160GB 6th gen and a Classic 80Gb 6th gen, but they both say they are not supported. Anyone else getting the same issue? If not can you let me know which ipod model, gen and capacity you are using?
2) Option 2- D card
I have a 64GB Samsung micro SD car which I have placed into a SD Adapter. But when I copy my music over only around half the songs are present. What format does the card need to be? I assume this is the reason I am getting this issue.
Thanks!!

There’s a note in the owner’s manual recommending not using micro sD cards with adapters, they were concerned about vibration dislodging the micro card. In my experience, songs purchased from iTunes don’t show up on the car. I uploaded the songs from the sD card to the car’s jukebox (sans purchased songs).

I will look into a ipod classic 7th gen as well as a SD Card. I hwve tried placing my music onto a WD hard drive and a generic USB but always says 'not supported, What does the the file format need to be on a usb stick or hard drive to work?
