Hi, thanks for reply. I'm doing engine rebuild and front-rear axle shaft replacements. And electro harness/wiring replacements too. So I wondered if you had some graphics or diagrams for any of those things? thanks.

If you're doing any repairs or even maintenance, the owner's manual won't do any good. You need a repair manual to do these R&Rs. The primary source for an official repair manual is the Bentley Repair Manual from Robert Bentley Publishers (Bentley Publishers Home - Bentley Publishers - Repair Manuals and Automotive Books). For the A6 C6 platform, their manual is Stock No. AC66, and covers Audi A6 & S6, 2005 thru 2008.

thanks for this info. Yeah, I guess I'm gonna need the repair manual in digits here if anyone could post a PDF or in any other format that would help a lot me and other audi club/forum folks.

The Bentley Repair Manual is too large to make a PDF, assuming one would print out every section, scan it, and then post the PDFs. Additionally, the material is copyrighted, so anyone trying to do what you are suggesting could face legal issues. You indicated that you are doing an engine rebuild, so you need a complete repair manual to access all of the technical information needed to disassemble and assemble correctly, such as fastener tightening sequence and torque values. Without that technical information, you won't be successful. You might be better off having a competent shop that knows and repairs VAG cars to do this work.

Try this.

I got my manual in pdf from this guy 2 years ago. And works great, it even included PR numbers. Most likely it is illegal though.
