Launch Control RPM

It should be around 2000 rpm, which is the stall speed of the torque converter. With a traditional automatic you don't have launch control in the typical sense, because there is no clutch to decouple the transmission from the engine. So the engine can only rev to the point before the torque converter overpowers the brakes and causes the car to move or stall the engine. That's called the stall speed.

That seems high, but I haven't checked myself. To be fair, the revs will not go up all the way to the stall speed in order to not put stress on the drivetrain and potentially damage the torque converter. From what I've seen on videos based on what I remember it revs to around 2200 to 2300 rpms. Something like that. There are a number of YouTube videos that you can find and see what it revs, too.

Yeah I have done it several times and it's 3k ish. Push and hold traction control for a few secs until you see ESC off, press the brake and mash the gas. It will sit at 3k until you release the brake. I have to say it launches hard and shifts hard as well.

No, you don't want to turn ESC off. Just one push to put it in Sport mode. That will provide the optimum amount of launch traction vs torque cut.

If you don't turn ESC off the rpm will not rise to 3k, sport mode has nothing to do with it. . Look at all of they guys that have run at the 1/4 track they all use ESC off. The correct way to launch this car with the TC is ESC off. Leave ESC on and put it in sport mode then press the brake and gas and launch. Then do the same with ESC off and you will see what I'm talking about unless the cars in EU are different from US spec .

ESC in sport mode (not the transmission sport mode) One press of the ESC button. It actually works in sport mode OR with it completely off but you run the risk of excessive tire spin with it all the way off. Glisse is correct.
