2018 SQ5 fuel consumption
hello all,
wanted to get an idea of how is the fuel consumption for the 2018 SQ5. I know that it’s 19 city and 24 highway.
Bit cant really rely on that number.
So wante to ask you you guys of your experience.
Once complety topped off off how far can the sq5 go on one full tank of gas?

I am getting about 380 miles per tank, mostly highway driving. I found the mpg estimates to be pretty accurate. It takes me 15 to 20 miles on the highway to reach 24 MPG, and if I go further it can sometimes go up to 26 MPG

I haven't received my SQ5 yet but can say that the mpg is about the very last thing on things that matter when it comes for me to purchase a vehicle. So yes, I will be satisfied.

It’s possible to far exceed EPA # or get a lot less. I took a meandering trip of about 180 miles at lower speeds and got a little above 32 in Comfort mode. At freeway speed of 80 average about 23 once again in Comfort mode. Around town 18 is easy unless you get heavy on the throttle. Wind, Stoplights, Driving mode and driver all affect mileage. I don’t much care excep the longer range between fill-ups is nice on a trip. On a recent trip to Death Valley I was able to avoid fueling at the $4.59 rip-off for Premium. My conclusion is that the SQ fuel map is very good. A lot of power without wasting fuel.

I’m getting a little less than epa numbers. I drive 90% in auto mode / map and do 80% city driving. My average after 1000 miles is 17.3 mpg (I record all of my fill ups with the Fuelly app).
I have had had the trip computer read 22-24mpg on 1.5 hour highway drives so it’s def possible. In the city, the trip computer has told me anywhere from 14-18mpg.
