Default 2018 Q5/SQ5 Mexico made quality

Was trying to get a RS3 but wife shot it down. I have the same budget and can opt for a SQ5. I just learn audi shifts the entire Q5 production to Mexico.
for people already took delivery the Mexican made Q5, any concerns on craftsmanship and quality? If you happen to own a Germany made audi before, any noticeable difference?

I haven't owned Audi previously, but had multiple QC issues with my 18 Q5 PP. Dealer corrected them, but still a pain.

1,200 miles in on my new SQ5, and no issues. Had 2002 TT-225, 2010 S4 and 2014 S4 previously. Think the new one is just as well made.

No issues with my SQ5. It is as German as can be!. Rumors has it that they only allow factory workers to drink Heineken during their breaks instead of Corona.

people - VW/Audi have been down in Mexico for years. my 2013 VW Jettasportwagen has given me pain free ownership. why would quality control change if the company standards are in place and most of the people who work in the Mexico plants actually work in the European plants for a year or 2 to learn the culture and develop the pride?

12,000 miles on my '18 SQ5. No issues whatsoever. Solid build quality.

Same here. 1,200 miles on an SQ5 and it is as solid as can be. Love this car!

11M and no problems. Best brakes I have ever had but they make some noise at low speeds when gently braking.

My 2014 Q5 was great for the 55,000 miles I had it, before it was totaled. My current 2018 Q5 has 3800 miles on it and so far is flawless.
