Default Mirror screen on Android Auto...Now Works!!!
It's still in development but I can confirm that we can now mirror our phones to our MMI's. There is discussion going on here....

The app that works the best so far is here (article# 2464)....

That's awesome. Another reason why I should switch to Android. I'm in a love/hate relationship with my iPhone and Apple devices but I have everything from Macbook, ipad, iphone, apple tv...

I installed AA Mirror and nothing shows up in AA. Have to play some more. Did you get this to work?

Yes I have it working. Google has blocked it on AA version 3. I had to uninstall and downgrade to version 2.9 and block updates in play store for the time being

I installed 2.9 and AA Mirror shows up as an option. When I click AA Mirror and I get the sidebar that shows the grid and star icons, but I can't do anything with it. How do you navigate from there to do the mirroring?

Since our MMI is not touch screen, everything is done from the phone. It should "mirror" what you see on your phone.

Hi,

I just bought my audi s4 and i tried to download android auto 2.9 and aa mirror to get this working on the car, but it doesn't. It doesn't show aa mirror at all when i double click for it to show up and start mirroring. Did google block 2.9 also?
